We are glad to announce that our Aquaculture R&D facility for full scale development is established in India. The site, located in Palwancha, Telengana, India, comprises land, water supply from drilled well, infrastructure, and sufficient space for full scale testing of recirculating aquaculture.
The site was built using Arctic sustainability groups own technology for all aspects of the fish farm. All commissioning tests and water treatment startup has been highly successful.
Gowtham Ramaswamy, ASG’s head of India operations, states: “We have pulled off an amazing feat, setting all aspects of tech-delivery already from the start. All pieces of our aqua technology have slotted into place like pieces of Lego. Also, our international team blending cultures and supply chains has worked like a well-oiled machinery.”
Now, the next step is to run the site for a few weeks to build up bio-filter efficiency and stability. After this phase fish will be introduced into the system.
